Tamborine Mt clays

$66.00 Sold Out

Finely crafted from Australian porcelain, this cup has nerikomi layers of coloured porcelain and various stoneware clays inlayed through its walls. Sourced from local volcanic clays of Tamborine Mountain, these cups are some of the first from this collection.

Each cup is hand crafted by Larissa in her under ground bunker studio based in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.
Price is for 1 cup- which has its own special personality. Please note, due to the different stoneware and mineral properties placed within the porcelain, expect some minor warping (or as I like to refer to it as ..character).

Did you know that porcelain keeps your wine super cool? Feel free to try! ;) I’ve also been told that gin, iced tea and chai lattes suit these cups pretty well too!

Polished silky smooth outside with a clear gloss inside.
Fired to cone 10 which offers superior translucency, whiteness and strength.

Recommendation is to hand wash for a long & happy life.
approx: 200ml 80mm high, 90mm wide at rim
